Nasdaq – Weekly Analysis

This week, we take a different approach to Nasdaq—narrowing the focus to a single statistical signal that rarely appears, yet often carries outsized implications.
In this brief analysis, we step away from the broader framework of our regular updates to examine this anomaly in isolation—what it has historically meant, how it aligns with the current structure, and why it may offer an early clue to the next major move.
Statistics – 8/20-Week EMA Cross

Last week, while preparing the Nasdaq weekly report, I built a chart that I initially hesitated to share. Still, given the implications, it is worth outlining this scenario, even in a brief format.
Several technical conditions contributed to this setup, though they remain outside the scope of this update. What matters is the outcome: Nasdaq closed last week with primarily bullish signals and came very close to recording an 8/20-week EMA bullish cross. If momentum holds, this event could be confirmed as early as this week or next. It is a statistically rare signal, and historically, it has been associated with substantial rallies.
With NQ currently trading around 25,000, the index could be positioned for a 30%–65% advance, targeting the $32,000–41,000 range over the next 6–18 months. The path would not be linear, and pullbacks should be expected along the way.
In essence, Nasdaq may be approaching the starting line of a major upward move, with a significant technical signal on the verge of confirmation.
