Trading Signals and Symbols
The trading system uses different signals and symbols to help you understand and execute the trades better:
- Type A Long: Oversold LONG via 100% $SPY, which can last from a few days to a few weeks.
- Type B Long: Breakout LONG via 100% $SPY, which can last from a few weeks to a few months.
- Shorts: SHORT via 50% of $SH, which can last from a few days to a couple of weeks.
Trade Execution Time
The entry and exit of the trades are executed at the market closing time so that everyone is on the same page. However, the trades may hit the prescribed stop loss and exit at intraday.
System-Calculated Stops
- Stop update: stops are calculated automatically by the system and updated in the later evening for the next day if needed.
- Stop out re-enter: if any trade is stopped out at intraday, the same directional trade will be re-entered if the current signal direction is not changed at the market closing with a new stop. Otherwise, the trade direction will be exited or reversed depending on the new system direction at the market closing.
