Natural Gas – Daily Analysis

Today, we will try to understand the meaning of just $0.002 in a critical Natural Gas scenario.
In today’s report, we examine Natty through its key technical signals and evolving structure, identify the critical levels now in focus, and assess the most probable path for the next major move.
CANDLES

Today, Natty had multiple chances to close at a new lower low, but somehow finished just $0.002 above the previous day’s low. From the candle perspective, that is an epic failure by bears.
Most likely, Natural Gas formed a bottom through an Inside Combo, with elevated odds of moving higher from here. If this hypothesis plays out tomorrow, we should see a strong signal on the 5D and several other short- to mid-term frames, supported by a momentum reading.
Overall, the short-term outlook is neutral, pending a decision. The mid- and long-term outlooks remain wide open and will likely be decided by the end of May.
ELLIOTT WAVES
Last Wave

Nothing to add in the Elliott Wave department. All previous assessments remain intact. Natty still has better odds of continuing the rally upward, although the exact path of the current consolidation remains largely unclear.
If Natty extends the pullback below the May 7 low, the red scenario would likely become primary. At this point, however, there are still too many unknowns, making the Elliott Wave structure less reliable than usual.
SUMMARY:
Natural Gas remains at a short-term decision point, but today’s failure to close at a new lower low gives bulls a meaningful opening. The $0.002 hold may have marked a bottoming attempt, and confirmation tomorrow could quickly shift momentum back to the upside.
The broader picture remains unresolved into the end of May. Elliott Wave still leans toward continuation higher, but the consolidation path is unclear, and a break below the May 7 low would shift the focus toward the bearish red scenario. For now, Natty is neutral short term, with better odds for a bullish recovery if tomorrow confirms today’s setup.
