Magnificent 7 – Technical Update

The Magnificent 7 heard the Fed’s message loud and clear — and the reaction was anything but quiet.

No rate change was the headline, but the nuance was the real shock. The Fed pushed back against the market’s easy-policy expectations, acknowledged inflation pressure, and brought higher-for-longer — and even potential hikes — back into the conversation. The market’s leadership group responded immediately, with several names printing bearish candles, losing momentum, or testing key technical support.

In this Magnificent 7 technical update, we examine how NVDA, META, AMZN, MSFT, AAPL, GOOGL, and TSLA reacted to the Fed’s message, identify which charts remain structurally strong, which ones are showing cracks, and whether this was only a short-term reset — or the beginning of a broader leadership rotation.

The Magnificent Seven represent over 37% of the Nasdaq 100 and more than 33% of the S&P 500. With that kind of weight, today’s reaction cannot be dismissed as noise. Their move deserves a closer look.

Today’s candle signals across all seven stocks were in rare alignment. Each of them either formed strong bearish reversal candles or bearish combinations. All seven lost 8 EMA support, and all seven kept their short-term trends bearish.

Unless the group stages a strong recovery by the end of the week, the weekly close is tracking to be brutal.
