META – Weekly Analysis

On July 9, we made this call on META and shared it on our free Discord channel. Those who listened could have made about 13% in just one day.

But what now? Is META set for a larger rally, or was this only a last gasp before a deeper plunge?

In this META analysis, we examine the latest technical signals, review the criteria required to confirm that the bottoming structure is complete, and assess the prospective mid- and long-term outlook. The key question is whether META is preparing to resume a larger bullish path — or whether the current recovery attempt remains only another pause within a broader correction.

CANDLES & TA::

This week, after confirming a bottom on several smaller frames, META expanded its bullish odds to the larger frames and built significant bullish momentum.

A break above the 200 DMA, the 50 and 100 WMA, and a potential Double Bottom on the 10D frame all signal strong tailwinds. If the breakout above the 200 DMA is confirmed, I would expect at least a 30% rally based on historical evidence.

META is bullish until it signals otherwise.

Elliott Waves

Mid/Long Term

I have nothing to change on the chart posted in mid-June. META has likely started wave 3 of V, with the most probable targets in the $815–925 area. Wave 3 may be followed by a multi-month pullback for wave 4, and then another rally for wave 5.

The targets for wave 5 are estimated using several different methods, but they will heavily depend on the exact length of wave 3, which is still unknown.

In other words, the stock could rise about 40–50%, or even more, over the next 6–12 months, which aligns with several statistical estimates.

SUMMARY

META is approaching a potentially important reversal point. After several recent bottoming attempts, the stock has confirmed a short-term bottom on the daily frame, and a close above $597.63 would strengthen the reversal case, extend bullish momentum, and increase the odds of a weekly reversal signal.

From an Elliott Wave perspective, META may have completed wave IV right in the middle of the target area discussed in March. If the initial momentum is confirmed this week, the stock could be starting wave 3 of V, with the most probable target area in the $815–925 zone. Longer term, this could support 40–50% upside, or more, over the next 6–12 months, depending on the exact structure of wave 3 and the later wave 5 projection.

META’s importance goes beyond its own chart. As one of the market’s heavyweight leaders, a confirmed bullish reversal would likely support Nasdaq, Communication Services, growth sentiment, and broader risk appetite. If META begins a sustained wave 3 advance, it could become one of the key engines behind the next stage of the market rally.
