DJT Index – Bear Flag

571

Dow Transports are starting to send a much less comfortable message. The Dow Jones Transportation Average appears to be developing a bear flag, and if the structure confirms, the downside roadmap points toward the 20,500–19,535 target zone. That would imply a decline of roughly 6–9% from current levels, turning the recent consolidation into something much more serious than a simple pause.

This matters because transports are often viewed as an important economic and market barometer. When DJT starts to weaken, the message can extend beyond rails, airlines, trucking, and logistics. It can become a broader warning about demand, margins, freight activity, and risk appetite. So the key question is simple: if Dow Transports are preparing for a fall, what happens next to the Dow Industrials?
